About me
Jarret Keene is an assistant professor of English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he teaches fiction writing, American literature, and graphic novel history. He serves as series editor for Las Vegas Writes (Nevada Humanities/Huntington Press). His books include the dystopian novel Hammer of the Dogs (University of Nevada Press), the story collection Gateways to Annihilation (Dark Wolf, 2025), and the Kid Crimson western series (Wolfpack Publishing, 2024), along with several middle-grade nonfiction titles. His work has been featured in Writer’s Digest, Publishers Weekly, Tupelo Quarterly, and on Coast to Coast AM.
