Kim Bateman, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, Storyteller, Communication Specialist, Psychology Educator, End-of-Life Doula, and M.A.P.S. trained psychedelic assisted therapist. She facilitates leadership workshops for executives, including How to be more Comfortable in Uncomfortable Conversations, and Stages of Institutional Culture through the Song Lyrics of Bob Marley. The focus is on navigating personal, workplace, and political divides through conscious communication. Dr. Bateman presented a TEDx talk called Singing Over Bones and authored the award winning book "Crossing the Owl’s Bridge: A Guide for Grieving People Who Still Love" which uses the wisdom of worldwide folk tales and case stories to demonstrate how to share, ritualize and transform grief. She is the CEO and a Psychology Professor at Sierra College in Tahoe-Truckee, California, USA.
