About me
Elizabeth A. Tucker is a fiction writer, poet, playwright, and sixth-generation Californian, living and writing at 6,600 feet above sea level in the Sierra Nevada. Her award-winning debut novel The Pale Flesh of Wood published in 2025 was listed as one of the 30 Most Powerful Books on Grief. Her other works can be found in a host of national and international literary journals. When not carving words to page, she can usually be found anywhere outdoors or playing the stand-up bass with the Reno Pops Orchestra.
