J.MACON KING is a novelist, award-winning poet, writer, interview journalist and publisher of the Mill Valley Literary Review, which San Francisco Magazine touted "…drags the literary journal kicking and screaming into the 21st century." His debut novelized-memoir, Circus of the Sun, received enthusiastic reviews. “Beguiled by an incandescent artist and her entourage, a volatile young musician spirals through 1979 San Francisco’s cultural, sexual and political maelstrom.” He performs numerous readings in the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe where he resides with a muse and her Ewok— one Ducati, two black cats, three and ½ skis and four mountain bikes.
