Truckee Literary Crawl

Priya Hutner is a writer and co-founder of the Tahoe Literary Festival and the Truckee Literary Crawl. Her work has been featured in the Tahoe Guide, Moonshine Ink, Muse Magazine, and TahoeCom. She writes about the arts, entertainment, culture, culinary trends, and reviews books. She facilitates transformative writing and breath meditation workshops.

Her memoir, Chasing Nirvana: A Seeker’s Story of Love, Loss, and Liberation, chronicles her journey in a cult like spiritual ashram with a charismatic female guru from Brooklyn. Priya explores themes of belief, seeking, familial ties, love, and liberation from the bondage of belief When she’s not writing, cooking, or teaching, you can find Priya outdoors skiing, hiking, and biking in the Sierra Nevada.
